HOW DO COSMAS/JOLLY BOOTS FIT?Cosmas/Jolly is an Italian company and manufactures footwear to a classic European fit. Therefore, our footwear tends to fit different than some North American brands. Our footwear may feel slightly more snug and contoured - An essential element to constructing a boot that properly supports the user. Cosmas/Jolly boots perform best after a break-in period. After the break-in period, they will essentially mold to the shape of your foot creating a more stable fit.

HOW SHOULD I CLEAN/MAINTAIN MY BOOTS?1. Store the footwear, when not in use, in a dry and well-ventilated place. 2. Clean the shoes regularly, according to the following instructions: Shoes with uppers in grain leather: use a soft brush, workshop paper, a cloth, and cleanse with warm water. Shoes with nubuck or suede uppers: to clean, use a small piece of rubber or a metal or hard plastic brush or, alternatively, very fine sandpaper, and cleanse with warm water. Footwear with fabric uppers (Kevlar®, Cordura®, etc.): clean with a sponge or cloth and water, then dry the footwear with a soft cloth. The frequency is to be established based on the workplace conditions. After each use, it is advisable to check the footwear and remove the removable insole to speed up drying. It is also suggested to wash the insole regularly at 30°C, with hand washing and possibly neutral soap (except for leather insoles). We recommend periodically treating the uppers with suitable products in order to preserve their impermeability and water repellency. Jolly Scarpe Spa supplies the IDROSTOP CREAM products, ideal for grain leather uppers, and IDROSTOP SPRAY, a reviving and waterproofing product recommended for fabric uppers (Kevlar®, Cordura®) and for suede and nubuck leathers. 3. Do not use aggressive products (petrol, acids, solvents, bases, etc.) which can compromise the quality, safety and duration of the PPE. 4. Do not dry shoes near or in direct contact with heat sources (stoves, radiators, unit heaters, fireplaces, direct sunlight, etc.).
